Commercial Lines Account Manager (April 2025)

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for our business clients, managing complex commercial insurance portfolios and providing expert guidance on risk management solutions. You'll build lasting relationships while ensuring our clients receive the protection their businesses need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of commercial accounts, serving as the primary client contact.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client policies to identify coverage gaps and opportunities.
  • Process endorsements and renewals with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to secure optimal coverage solutions for clients.
  • Provide detailed explanations of coverage options and policy terms to clients.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues with a customer-first approach.
  • Document all client interactions in the agency management system.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging risks, and insurance products.
  • Assist with claims reporting and coordinate with claims adjusters when necessary.
  • Support producers in preparing proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and risk assessment activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty license required
  • 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages (GL, Property, Auto, Workers' Comp, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to finding solutions
  • Experience with industry-specific exposures and coverages preferred
  • CISR, CIC, or CPCU designation is a plus
  • Agency tech stack includes AMS360, Agency Zoom, and Wunderwrite.

Commercial Lines Assistant (September 2025)

As a Commercial Lines Assistant, you'll assist our commercial lines account managers and producers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with certificates of insurance.
  • Work with clients on inspections and loss control recommendations to make sure they are completed.
  • Process and follow up on endorsements and renewals with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work with the front desk to send out client policies in a timely manner.
  • Provide detailed explanations of coverage options and policy terms to clients.

Team Culture and Office Environment

At Hanby, we are a close-knit team that succeeds by supporting one another and our community.  We are passionate about providing the best insurance solutions for our clients. We take time to educate them on insurance products and coverage, and should a claim occur, we have an in-house claims liaison to walk them through the entire claims process.

To make sure our team is as efficient as possible, we provide the latest technology in the industry:
